Nike SB Made 4 Skate pop-up store
Client: Nike EMEA Action sports
Role: Project Management and Execution
Sport: skateboarding

We were asked to organise a pop-up skatestore in an abandoned storefront in one of the busiest streets in the heart of Amsterdam. The store would not only house a temporary shop selling deadstock Nike SB sneaker models that were scraped from all the dark corners of the Nike wharehouses, but also host an exposition on the history of skateboard footwear together with Made 4 Skate from Stuttgart. The opening night was a full house and the store continued to be a kind of clubhouse for the Amsterdam skatescene, a trip down memory shoelane for older skaters and a succesfull pop-up store for nearly two months.

The project was enriched by the creation of a special Made 4 Skate book on the history of skateboard footwear and a special Nike SB Blazer that was limited to 24 pairs worldwide and had the punters sleeping on the curb. Execution in joint venture with the amazing people from Floda 31
